Pitch Rules & Details
At least one person on the founding or executive team must have continually resided in Brooklyn for at least one year prior to June 30, 2019. The business must be based in Brooklyn.The Brooklynite contender, and a maximum of two presenters, must be present for the final round.
The Made in Brooklyn Summit Advisory Board and pitch judges will vet applications to determine the ten semifinalists.
The semifinalists will benefit from exposure at the Made in Brooklyn Summit and be published on our social media platform leading up to the live pitch competition...
PRESENTATION REQUIREMENTS & FORMATS
Plan submissions in written form may be no longer than five pages; plans submitted in video form may be no longer than 4 minutes.
At the Brooklyn Bounty live pitch, the semifinalists will present to our panel of judges. Each will be given 15 minutes to present their pitch. Breakdown: 5 minutes presentation, 5 minutes Q & A, and 5 minutes judge feedback. Time cut-offs are firm.
The four finalists will be selected and then submit a fifteen minute final pitch consisting of 10 minutes presentation and 5 minutes Q & A to the awards judges. Time cut-offs are firm. The winners will be announced at the end of the Summit before the close of the event.
